The DSAG Personnel Days at a Glance
SAP users met for the second time at the DSAG Personnel Days, this time under the motto “New Horizons: Reth!nk HR – Working in the HR of the future”. The event, which took place from June 4-5 in Osnabrück, was aimed at HR managers, IT managers and HR and IT specialists. It was intended to stimulate the exchange of ideas and HR and IT strategies on current topics and opportunities in HR in the SAP context. The central question was: How must HR develop in order to master the challenges of the present and future?
The two-day event offered inspiring keynotes, numerous informative presentations and an extensive exhibition with 32 partners. This promised exciting insights and new impulses.
PRESENTATION OF OUR SAP MODEL COMPANY OTTO BIKES
We, in4MD Service GmbHs, had the privilege of participating as one of these exhibitors and presenting our Otto Bikes Model Company. In addition, our colleague Babett Ruß gave an interesting presentation entitled “SAP Knowledge Forge”, in which she introduced our internal training academy. In this academy, we train and develop our employees internally, including new, possibly also non-IT lateral entrants. In this way, we counteract the shortage of skilled workers and ensure that we have qualified specialists.
OUR INSIGHTS AND IMPRESSIONS OF THE DSAG Personnel Days
- Size and atmosphere of the conference: With around 1,000 guests and 32 exhibitors, we found the size of the conference to be ideal. The relatively small number of participants enabled an intensive exchange and it was easy to get into conversation with others.
- Thematic Focus: The specific focus of the conference on HR and IT led to targeted conversations and in-depth discussions. Staff shortages and administration in IT systems are particularly important topics at the moment. Many HR managers are currently more concerned with recruiting than with other tasks.
- Challenges with HR IT administration tools: A key challenge for many companies is finding the right IT administration tool for their HR needs.
- The importance of presentations: A presentation attracts a lot of attention, which has a positive effect on the exhibition stand. After the presentation, which Babett Ruß was able to give in her usual winning manner, the audience flocked to our stand and sought in-depth discussions and further advice.
Our conclusion
The DSAG Personnel Days 2024 was a valuable platform for exchange and networking within the SAP HR and IT community. We are already looking forward to the next edition and to developing our offerings and solutions for the challenges of HR in person again and presenting them to SAP users.
